A cause of death has been confirmed for Taylor Rousseau Grigg, the TikTok star who died last week at age 25.

Her family’s update comes five days after Taylor Rousseau Grigg’s husband, Cameron Grigg, announced his wife’s “sudden and unexpected” death Oct. 5 on Instagram and also in an update on a GoFundMe.

“No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age,” Cameron Grigg wrote in his Instagram post.

What happened to Taylor Rousseau Grigg? Cause of death and diagnoses revealed

Taylor Rousseau Grigg died on Oct. 4 after suffering complications from asthma and Addison’s disease, a representative for her family told TODAY.com in a statement. TODAY.com has reached out to Cameron Grigg for comment.

Addison’s disease, also called adrenal insufficiency, is an uncommon chronic condition that occurs when the body doesn’t produce enough of certain hormones, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Asthma causes a person’s airways to narrow and swell, and may produce extra mucus, according to the Mayo Clinic. Asthma can make breathing difficult and also trigger coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath. In some cases, it can lead to a life-threatening asthma attack.

What did Taylor Rousseau Grigg share about her health?

Taylor Rousseau Grigg addressed her health problems in a TikTok posted Aug. 8, without sharing a diagnosis.

She told her more than 1.4 million followers that although she had once been “very athletic,” she was now “not healthy and in good shape” and hadn’t been “in a long time.”

Though she didn’t give specifics about her diagnoses at the time, Taylor Rousseau Grigg said she “got sick” after she and her husband got married in August 2023.

Ticketmaster will start using Apple Wallet’s more useful tickets this month

October 11, 2024 0

Ticketmaster announced today that it will be the first ticketing company to use Apple’s upgraded Apple Wallet tickets for iOS 18. With the improved tickets, you’ll be able to see event information “such as a map of the venue and parking details, recommended playlists from Apple Music, local forecasts from Weather, and easy access to location sharing to help fans find their friends when they arrive,” Ticketmaster says. Venues and teams will also be able to add links to their app or website.

The first Ticketmaster event to use the upgraded tickets will be the October 19th Los Angeles Football Club game at BMO Stadium. Ticketmaster says the Miami Heat will be “next to debut” the new ticket experience, though the company didn’t say exactly when that might happen. The improved ticket experience will be “more widely available” next year.

We’ve asked Ticketmaster if it can share more details about the broader rollouts.

Terrifier 3’ Jump Scares $2M+ Previews & 94% Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score, ‘Joker

October 11, 2024 0

Cineverse’s unrated slasher threequel Terrifier 3 grossed out $2.6M in previews on Thursday which began at 8PM. There’s speculation that this microbudget movie, which cost Cineverse under $5M in its entirety for acquisition and P&A, will topple Warner Bros’ Joker: Folie à Deux from the top spot of the box office in its second weekend with an $11M+ take. We will see. It all depends if Cineverse’s thrifty marketing campaign finds a greater audience beyond the core it’s promoting to; their streaming subs and Blooding Disgusting followers. The Damien Leone written and directed horror movie is 94% with Rotten Tomatoes audiences, and 78% with critics. Comscore/Screen Engine’s PostTrak didn’t capture audience exits on the pic.

The early box office numbers putting Terrifier 3 at No. 1 after early previews are far beyond our expectations and we are thrilled to see how strongly the Terrifier fanbase has come out in support of the franchise’s new chapter,” said Cineverse Chairman/CEO Chris McGurk in a statement this AM. “This success is proof that a quality indie film can hold its own theatrically despite being unrated and going up against big studio features and buzzy festival darlings, and is a testament to Phil and Damien’s vision and connection to those most passionate about the horror genre.”
